Showing the dogs has always been a family passion. Our 3rd generation handler, Alex Romero, takes her dogs to the highest level of training and conditioning possible.
Alex finished her first dog when she was 5 years old - all by herself. The dog was a Miniature Bull Terrier named Tecuya's Lucy in the Sky. Alex has always had the "gift of hand" and learned early on that you have to be the leader of the pack.

Being the competitive individual that she is, Alex has shown and finished dogs
from 6 AKC Groups. She continually studies the breed standards and attends
breed seminars. She was "Best Junior Handler" at 3 Breed Specialties in
one year, and is now judging AKC sanctioned matches.
She has also won 2 college scholarships competing in Junior Showmanship.

Alex finished her Doberman Pincher, Ch. Catera's Casino, CGC, TDI, at 18 months old including a Group I. If you have ever watched the competition in the Dobe ring, this is no small feat! "Reno the red" is co-owned and bred by Jeanne Cantanzaro.
